Maurilio (Maure) G. Hernandez, 61, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026. Beloved companion of Vanessa Aguilar. Survived by his children Elena (Andrew) Cirillo, Jacob Hernandez, Matthew Hernandez and their mother Marguerite (Meg) Hernandez. Cherished grandfather of Sofia Cirillo. Dear brother of Gloria (Humberto) Gonzalez, Moises Hernandez, Veronica (Al) Garcia, Lorena (Rodney) Steffen, Zulema (Jonathan) Jordan and Noe (Christina) Hernandez. Fond uncle of many cherished nieces and nephews. Beloved and respected founder and CEO of Chicago Digital Power, he leaves a lasting legacy both in his field and on the many people who knew him professionally and personally. He now joins his mother and father, Irene and Jose Hernandez in heaven.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 20, 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Hwy, Park Ridge, IL 60068. Funeral to follow Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Church, 794 Pearson St, Des Plaines, IL 60016.  Private Interment to follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL. Rather than traditional dark attire, the family welcomes guests to wear white or bright colors to reflect the warmth and brightness Maure brought to our lives.
